EP01 - Stargazing Cradle of Humankind
EP01 - Stargazing Cradle of Humankind
Welcome to our new spin-off of SPACE-FRIDAY. Modern technology opens up new ways how we can photograph the night sky. We have done a first step into this area now and we like the results of our first try. This is why we created SPACE-FRIDAY: PHOTOGRAPHY. As in our other documentary productions we count on the technology of the iPhone and this is how the iPhone Xs with the NightSky app makes astrophotography. For our first shot we have been 25km outside of Johannesburg, South Africa in the Cradle of Humankind. An area with very limited light pullution in the night. We are happy to present you this first pictures and hope to develop and increase the quality of our astrophotography together with you. This first episode will be publish on all our social media channels at the same time. Further episodes will premiere on our website and web gallery.

EP06 - Stargazing Malta - Gozo: Stations of the Cross
EP06 - Stargazing Malta - Gozo: Stations of the Cross
Welcome to Malta and it’s neighbor island Gozo. It’s time for the last SPACE-FRIDAY: PHOTOGRAPHY episode in 2021. At the very south of Europe we have taken the way 1 kilometre upwards in the dark night to the “Stations of the Cross”. Here the light pollution is low and we had hope for a good view to the stars at night. It’s early November, windy and cloudy but we hope you like the pictures that we could make in a very limited time window before the clouds covered the night sky. We got a nice view to Jupiter, Saturn, The Moon and to parts of the star constellations of Cassiopeia, Giraffe, Andromeda, Perseus and the Andromedids. As in our other documentary productions we count on the technology of the iPhone and this is how the iPhone Xs with the NightSky and NightCap app makes astrophotography. We are happy to present you these first steps and hope to develop and increase the quality of our astrophotography together with you. @ All connected Users on Vero - True Social.
