It’s winter and time for a new season of mouthwatering food pictures. Welcome back to Picture the Food. We start this season with a Fried Chicken and Jasmine rice, slightly spicy sauce, white sesame seeds, nuts, spring rolls, finely chopped fresh white cabbage or iceberg lettuce served with Coke.

Today we have two cake slices for you in pastry size on sponge bases. The first cake has a red/pink punch glaze with light sponge between layers of cream with cream swirls and a red cocktail cherry on top. The second cake has a light coffee cream layer on top with chocolate chips and a mocha cream layer between a light dark chocolate sponge layer. Both cakes have a strong sponge base.
