Today we’re enjoying an affogato al caffè—an espresso topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The wonderful kick of the espresso paired with the cooling taste of the vanilla ice cream makes for a wonderfully refreshing treat on hot days. For an extra treat for the palate, we’re also having some straciatella and cappuccino ice cream with a waffle cone.
